Fails NLIST, there are not IS RS sources showing this has been discussed as a group. Article references ONE primary source 900+times. Wikipedia is not a mirror directory of parkrun events. // Timothy :: talk 17:37, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
- Keep. Nominating this article for insufficient sources six hours after its first creation, with about 70% of the individual entries incomplete, is inappropriate. WP:BEFORE C1 reads "If the article can be fixed through normal editing, then it is not a candidate for AfD". An assertion that article cannot be fixed with normal editing is far fetched. -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk 19:51, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
- What encyclopaedic merit does this topic have and how does it not fall under WP:NOTDIR? The USA, UK and France ones have their issues too so their existence does not automatically mean that the Australia one must be kept. There is no consensus (yet) that a list of Parkruns for a country is notable by default. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 21:46, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:NOTDIRECTORY. If people want to know where all the Parkruns are, they should use the Parkrun website, not except it to be found on an encyclopedia. Worth noting that all the other country's articles look to have been deleted now, and I see no evidence why this one should be any different. Joseph2302 (talk) 09:09, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- Delete - WP:NOTDIR is policy and this very clearly is a directory of non-notable Parkrun events, which has no place in an encyclopaedia. Furthermore, there seems to be a complete lack of independent sources documenting this according to my searches. The best I could find was Parkrun blog but this clearly is not an independent source, is a blog and also doesn't completely list all Parkrun events in Australia, instead it lists just one for each letter of the alphabet. - Delete with much Speed. This is just a massive link farm for parkrun. Wikipedia is not here to help promote this organisation and is not a free web host for them. duffbeerforme (talk) 12:06, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- Delete: It seems a lot of time has been spent on this article but unfortunately WP:NOTDIRECTORY. // GMH Melbourne (talk) 09:53, 21 March 2023 (UTC)
- Delete WP:NOTDIR. Also a list of entirely non notable entries. LibStar (talk) 10:33, 21 March 2023 (UTC)
