Hi Brandon.b2005, thank you so much for the heads up regarding my user page! I absolutely had no intention of self-promotion for the user page (I have joined Wikipedia as a user very recently and had not yet made sense of the purpose behind each page separate from regular articles themselves). I have corrected the mistake and hope that User page is now clearer (though I hope that material is appropriate for a draft article, separate from my user page). Thank you for your reply. No worries and I had no suspicions that you were intentionally misusing Wikipedia either. Wikipedia's policies and guidelines are extensive and we all learn at some point. Thanks for the report at WP:UAA but please note that some wikis allow organisation accounts - see Commons policy for an example, the German wiki is another. Please don't report users at WP:UAA if they haven't edited on this wiki. Cabayi (talk) 10:55, 22 February 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for your reply. I wasn't aware of this case as I've only dealt with the English Wikipedia. As far as I'm aware, the account has made no contributions as I made my report on seeing a message from the user creation log while patrolling recent changes. My apologies for any inconvenience.
