Barði Jóhannsson

Barði Jóhannson (born October 10, 1975) commonly known as Barði in Bang Gang is an Icelandic musician, producer, director and singer. Barði is signed with EMI[1], and came in second in the 2007 Icelandic Eurovision Preliminary round, with the song Ho, Ho, Ho, We say Hey, Hey, Hey performed by Merzedes Club.[2] Barði is commonly recognized for his eccentric behavior as well as his music. [3]

Barði was asked to make three songs for the Eurovision 2008 Preliminary round. One of his three song got to the finals, Ho, ho, ho we say hey, hey, hey performed by Merzedes Club. The group became an instant hit, and have to date released three singles, and one music video.

Bang Gang is a band from Iceland. Bang Gang is often the musical alias of songwriter/producer Barði Jóhannsson who formed the band and lives in Reykjavík.
