Reverted sockpuppet edit about Puran Mal

I saw a refbomb about an incident affecting Puran Mal's family being enslaved; there were no less than 40 references where most seemed to be links to google books searches for "puran mal castration." I used the wikiblame tool to track it down to User:Femaseer, who seems to be a sockpuppet account. The revision I reverted was https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Slavery_in_India&diff=prev&oldid=1196329034

It seemed a strange thing for the sockpuppet to focus on, and the google books sources seemed hit-or-miss as to whether they actually supported the very specific incident, so I figured I would revert the entire paragraph about Puran Mal instead of trying to wade into what might have been a politically motivated edit.

I mention this on the talk page because I'm a new editor; I'm not trying to be intentionally destructive, and if this was not the right thing to do I would greatly appreciate feedback! Patrickpowns (talk) 07:24, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
