What 'Operation majestic' is, is simply a very late stage renaming of Downfall's 'Olympic' when in a incident known to cryptography historians, Olympic was sent nearly in he clear and the name was suspected to have been possibly compromised. AS Olympic name was compromised just a couple of days before Hiroshima and Nagaski, rendered Downfall moot so planners did not bother fully and permanently promulgating the name change from Olympic to Majestic since thousands of Top Secret documents already had 'Olympic.'
