This is not a lighthouse

I have checked against NOAA charts (in this case, Chart 19357, and this building is not a lighthouse; nor can I find any evidence that it ever functioned as a lighthouse. Mangoe (talk) 01:27, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

yeah, it isn't a lighthouse. it is a clock tower with an observation deck. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.171.131.186 (talk) 06:24, 30 August 2019 (UTC)

Coordinate error

The coordinates need the following fixes: 23.118222, -157.853403, as is currently shown, is about 200km north of the Aloha Tower! These coords are much closer: 21°18′26″N 157°51′57″W / 21.30709°N 157.86594°W / 21.30709; -157.86594

Who wrote this?

Hardy encyclopedic, but then it is wikipedia. Here is an example: "Today, Hawaii Pacific University has purchased and is continuing to redevelop the space." When exactly was today? We were there last week and the university is in operation so it wasn't today - oh wait, what about tomorrow, will it be then? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.171.131.186 (talk) 06:26, 30 August 2019 (UTC)

Immigration?

"Just as the Statue of Liberty greeted hundreds of thousands of immigrants each year to New York City, the Aloha Tower greeted hundreds of thousands of immigrants to Honolulu." This seems like a pretty bold comparison that should have some hard numeric data and a citation behind it. And, immigrants definitely shouldn't be conflated with tourists... which seems to be the case as the line appears to be misquoted from here.
