Nazir Naji (Urdu: نذیر ناجی; 1942/1943 – 21 February 2020) was a Pakistani journalist and Urdu columnist. He served for 27 years as a senior Urdu columnist for Daily Jang.[1]

Life and career

Nazir Naji was born in 1942 or 1943.[1] He was the chairman of the Pakistan Academy of Letters. In 2012, Naji left Jang Group and joined Daily Dunya as a Group Editor. He was honoured with the Hilal-i-Imtiaz for his services in journalism.[2][3]

Naji died in Lahore on 21 February 2020, at the age of 78.[4]
