Malekut (Persian: ملكوت)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Somam Rural District[4] of Rankuh District, Amlash County, Gilan province, Iran.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 397 residents in 101 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 365 people in 106 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 374 people in 126 households.[2]
