At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,824 in 550 households, when it was in the former Khomam District of Rasht County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,849 people in 588 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,901 people in 673 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
In 2019, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Khomam County, and the rural district was transferred to the new Central District.[6]
