Today, CREG1 is a topic that generates great interest and debate in society. For a long time, CREG1 has been the subject of study and analysis, but over time it has acquired even greater relevance. This topic has captured the attention of experts and professionals from various areas, who have dedicated themselves to researching and delving into its different aspects. Whether due to its impact on daily life, politics, culture or technology, CREG1 has become an unavoidable reference point today. In this article, we will thoroughly explore the different facets of CREG1 and its influence on our society.
Protein CREG1 (Cellular Repressor of E1A-stimulated Genes 1) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CREG1gene.[5][6]
The adenovirus E1A protein both activates and represses gene expression to promote cellular proliferation and inhibit differentiation. The protein encoded by this gene antagonizes transcriptional activation and cellular transformation by E1A. This protein shares limited sequence similarity with E1A and binds both the general transcription factor TBP and the tumor suppressor pRb in vitro. This gene may contribute to the transcriptional control of cell growth and differentiation.[6]
