The result was to delete the image.

Image is available freely for exactly the purpose used - no substitute exists. Image made available for free downloading from official site www.trilokgurtu.net. FIND AN ALTERNATE IF ONE EXISTS. Absurd. Tvccs 03:55, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

It may well be true that none exists. But could not one be created? --Abu Badali 04:27, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
You create it - I cannot, and it's fair use. This is harassment. Tvccs 05:56, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Do you believe it's possible? --Abu Badali 10:31, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Our fair use policy forbids using a non-free image if a free image could be created that could be used in its place. See criterion #1 and counter-example #8. In this case, it would be possible to create a free image; therefore this non-free image may not be used. Whether a free replacement image exists or not at this time is not relevant. – Quadell (talk) (random) 18:01, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

The two of you take the position that essentially any living person must have a GFDL image - that's total bullsh*t and I'm sick of dealing with this harassment masquerading as something legitimate. Tvccs 22:30, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Actually, it is policy. --Oden 14:08, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
