How is it that Nicolaus Copernicus is both on the Germans AND Poles article?

Who's decision was it to deliberately exclude Hitler? I mean he was a bad guy but he did exist... 92.20.7.16 (talk) 22:33, 28 April 2012 (UTC)

Maybe because he was an Austrian? --Denniss (talk) 12:25, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
Hitler identified as an ethnic German. The identity of Austrians being a distinct nation from Germans is recent and a post-World War II phenomenon. The Georgians article includes Joseph Stalin in spite of negative views held about Stalin in Georgia and the world, and the Germans article has been getting enough haranguing from users that Hitler should be included. Considering his effect on history, and the ever present Godwin's Law, I would say that Hitler should be included because he is a significant example of an ethnic German.--R-41 (talk) 23:05, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
I agree. Hitler should be included in the collate. 192.231.234.1 (talk) 22:58, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
